Taxi Trauma
It was new year, a new day , and of course , still reporting to work . I 've only slept for only an hour, and my alarm clock starts to riiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnng!!!! noise filled the entire room as well, i've started to get up , get myself ready for work. Most of the people in the house were in a deep sleep, tired from the occassion , they haven't noticed that i'm already leaving the house . I was like a cat, that making an escape from its master. Well anyways, i was waiting at the main gate of our village, when i tend to look for a tricycle. Nothing left at the terminal. I was about to wait for three minutes and soon a tricycle came out , and hurriedly went off the village.
I took a bus going to Baclaran, and soon drove it off for only 20 minutes from Salitran. No traffics, less vehicles running by , and again most of the people were tired and sleep late due from its occassion. When i stopped at Baclaran, there were few people waiting for a bus and taxi, it was around 5:45 am. I was about to wait a bus going to Ayala, unfortunately i've waited for minutes and soon i've lately noticed that i was waiting for 30 minutes, it was 6:15 am and i was expected to report at work, by 7:00 am. White taxis haxe paraded infront of me , and i was doubtful to take a taxi or not. There were no buses, only taxis , and it was 6:20 already, then i was opted to take a taxi going to work instead.
I' ve took a taxi going to work when the driver asked, " Ma'am saan po tayo?", then i replied ." "Manong sa Paseo, Citibank Center..." then he drove it off , and a sudden confusion from his face, he asked again "ma'am saan po ang way natin?" it's like he wasn't sure which way are we going to take , either Edsa or Buendia. Then i've answered nervously , "Manong sa Buendia na lang po", "pasensiya na po ma'am puyat ho eh!",. I've almost wanted to go down, because the driver looks drunk , or he was under the influence of prohibited drug (pero ang bilis ng takbo ng taxi and hindi puwedeng bumaba sa highway) i've started to pray. And dahil sa tindi ng pangangailangan ko ng sasakyan papuntang Citibank. I 've decided not to go down. When were almost near Ayala i've told the driver "manong dito na lang po tayo sa Ayala Ave. ..." and he replied sarcastically "ma'am di po puede, sarado po" . (The streets were closed during the celebration.) and still i've insisted "bakit po 'yung bus dumaan ng Ayala?", this time he replied anxiously "ma'am hindi nga puedeng dumaan...eh!", "ah...ok!" i said, and remained silent . He drove me to the streets of Dela Costa and Valero (halos nagpaikut-ikot lang kami) Then we stopped at Citibank Tower. he said "Madam 72.50 po!". And paid him 100 pesos, i was waiting for the change, and asked the driver "manong sukli ko po?", and he ask sarcastically "bakit meron ba?" i was a bit annoyed, and he handed me the change, instead of giving me 27.50, he only handed me 20 pesos as my change. Then i went off the taxi (Ggggrrrrrrrr!!!!!) and bang the door. It was the first day of the year that he ruined my day. That's one of the "so-called" traumatic experience that it WON'T happen again...

To my experience , before getting any taxi (1) You must checked if, he has an orange sticker marked: METER SEALED AND TESTED (2)Be sure to get the taxi's plate no. (just in case you've experienced the same thing as mine , you have the plate number for you to complain to LTFRB. )
